Can someone tell me the legal rights of employees in regards to change of employment conditions.(non union workers)
After working for 10 years under one set of employment conditions, a new management team is employed. This management team decide to change retrenchment benefits while at the same time aware of two pending work place closures with the need to implement this new condition immediately with the aim of reducing cost in retrenchment payouts to workers in the near future.
Is this ethical or legal?
